In 1997 James Cozens was looking at a better life for himself and his family. They ended up in New Zealand, the land of the long white cloud, Middle Earth and the All Blacks. At the time, there was not much resource available on the Net if you were looking for work here or career related information - so he set up www.job.co.nz. Now www.ukjob.co.nz has been set up as a sister site for Kiwis who are looking to spend some time working in the UK. Whilst there is now an overload of information on the Net, there is still a place in a "high tech" marketplace for some "high touch" advice. Jobs are an important part of our life and if we leave it all to chance or deal with many different agencies, we will not build up the relationships that help you in your job search and in building your career. He has also held senior marketing roles for one of the UK's leading financial recruiters and for a niche IT agency. James is currently CEO of job.co.nz limited, past President of the New Zealand Division and a Board Director of the RCSA (Recruitment and Consulting Services Association). He is also a member of the Accountancy Law and Advisory Committee at UNITEC and is also "heavily" involved in www.fatmanfit.com
